It seems there may be light at the end of the tunnel as it relates to this pandemic, BUT the SARS-CoV-2 virus still provides a level of risk, especially to those in healthcare. The CDC continues to provide updates, and Federal OSHA has implemented a National Emphasis Program (NEP) which will increase inspections in certain healthcare entities. Would your practice be prepared for an OSHA inspection? Are you aware of what OSHA would look for if inspected?

Karen Gregory will review in detail how both OSHA and the CDC are diligently working to ensure worker safety. This course will outline the most current guidance from the CDC specific to healthcare and review the elements of this National Emphasis Program.

At the end of this session the attendee will:

  • Identify current infection control guidance from the CDC.
  • List elements of OSHA NEP.
  • Discuss measures to ensure the safety of at-risk workers.
