Karen Gregory, RN, Director of Compliance and Education
As the Director of Compliance and Education at Total Medical Compliance (TMC) Karen applies her expertise in OSHA, HIPAA and infection control to help healthcare professionals master the safe delivery of care. Passionate about employee and patient safety, Karen takes every opportunity to share this very important information in order to improve the quality of healthcare for all involved. Karen has been an active member of the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) since 2009 and is currently serving as a member of the 2014 board. She is on the Editorial Review Board for Infection Control in Practice, OSAPs infection control training newsletter. OSAP has honored her repeatedly for her service; in 2013 she received the Dr. Milton E. Schaefer Superior Service Award for service. She has been recognized as a Hu-Friedy Key Opinion Leader. Karen frequently contributes articles to local and state organizational newsletters and magazines. Karen is a sought after speaker at local and state medical and dental meetings where feedback consistently includes enthusiastic, energetic and passionate. She was a presenter at the 2010 Hinman Dental Meeting, several OSAP Symposium, the 2012 – 2015 Federal Dental Services Infection Prevention and Control Course, and is a scheduled presenter for 2015 CDA Presents.
Bill Fivek, President of Total Medical Compliance
Bill provides a dynamic and energetic style to his presentation. He blends his experience in the healthcare marketplace with real life examples to underscore and highlight compliance challenges that are faces by professionals of all levels. As president and CEO, he also can assist the management team on the best way to approach compliance issues in larger organizations. Bill joined the company in 2005. Bill worked with Motorola for over 20 years in technology and customer service, prior to joining TMC. Bill has been a technical educator for over 27 years. He has given various technical presentations to diverse audiences worldwide. He has passed the required training to be recognized by the US Department of Labor to be an OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer in March of 2006.
