As part of the program an office inspection, current program and patient form review and Security Risk Analysis will be completed to identify gaps between current compliance processes and the regulatory requirements.
The employee training session, conducted by the TMC consultant, covers the HIPAA compliance requirement for the Privacy and Security Rule as well as behaviors, specific to your practice. Your employees will understand their role in complying with the regulation and dealing with patient rights. Online HIPAA training is available for new hires or workers not able to attend the on-site employee training.
Privacy/Security Officer Training Webinar
Recommended for the new Privacy/Security Officer or the officer needing a review of basics concepts, this introductory level webinar is offered on a monthly basis. In this two-hour webinar session, the required elements of an effective program, the role of the Safety/Privacy Officer, and a review of the Security Risk Analysis is provided.
